31 Prayers

This fall, I have been attending a Mom's Mentoring Group every Wednesday morning.  I can't even begin to describe how incredible this group is.  Well, actually, I can.  For those of you that really know me, I am ON TIME every single week!! :)
Each week a seasoned mom from our church shares her heart with us.  I've learned how to be a better wife, how to mother in a more Godly way, and ultimately how much my Heavenly Father loves me.  Before I can be a good wife, mom, or friend, I have to realize that Jesus loves ME, then share that love with everyone around me.
A tool that I found several years ago in another small group is a 'Praying for our children' calendar.  Sometimes I'm not exactly sure what to pray over the girls each morning.  (Other days it's blatantly clear...Ellie coming in our room every night because she's scared...I digress!)  This calendar has an attribute for every day of the month, along with a short little prayer.  It also tells where in the Bible to find what you're praying about.
I read this morning on Facebook that if we pray for our children everyday, by the time they reach adulthood, we will have prayed for them over 6,000 times!!  Not that it matters how much we pray, but wow!!
I also use this calendar to pray these attributes over myself and over Robbie.  It never hurts!!
Print this, stick it on your fridge, and glance at it as you're going to fix breakfast each morning.  Let the prayer soak in through the day, and I promise by the third month, you won't even have to read the prayers...you'll know them by heart!  You can also find the calendar here.
