We, along with hoards of other Auburn fans, got into the stadium around an hour-and-a-half before the ceremony's scheduled start. We got the best stadium dogs I've ever had (think I'm pregnant?!), and settled in for the celebration.
Unfortunately, once the food was gone, Mary Claire was ready to go, too. In her defense, she has a right ear infection and it was cold outside. So the two of us trekked back to the car, and I said a big 'Praise Jesus!' because we had the DVD player in the car.
Robbie and Ellie stayed and celebrated for us!
I'm thankful for the respite between now and when football season (no...in our house spring training) begins! But wow, it's been FUN!!
