Before today, twenty-one days didn't seem like a long time. When it hit me that our church's annual twenty-one day fast starts today, suddenly '21' felt like forever. What a skewed thought process to think that giving up something for twenty-one days to draw closer to my Savior is a long time and that maybe I would just skip this year. Uh-uh. After some serious consideration, I am giving up social media for the next three weeks. My prayer is that I will use the time I would normally be looking at blogs or Facebook and dedicate it to bible reading, talking to God, and devoting more time to my home and family. See you soon!!
