Robert has a tooth coming in! Perfect time to start weaning him. We will pretend like I decided to wean him just as he was getting a tooth instead of that it felt like fire in my chest when I fed him (and for hours after a feeding).
Ellie has a loose tooth...finally! She has been dying to have a loose tooth for a long time! Ellie also has pink eye. Fun times.
I'm excited, but I'm sad. Yes, I know, they're only teeth. But Ellie losing a tooth means that she'll never have that mouth full of innocent, in-tact teeth again. Instead she'll have a gap, then another, then another. These gaps will be filled by, ahem, adult teeth. Crazy!
And Robert. The days of a gummy grin are numbered. I'll miss those shiny, perfect gums. I love looking at his wide-open, no-tooth mouth ready to kiss me!
I'll get it over it. And I can see my parents now shaking their heads at what a weirdo their daughter has become dedicating an entire post to the absence and upcoming presence...of teeth! :)

Hey, Jenn! It is me again, here to talk about teeth!! Ha! I just wanted you to know that I completely understand! I cried when Maddox lost his first tooth. Seriously! Now he has lost 8! :( Totally looking (and acting) like a big boy. As sad as it is, it is still so fun to see them become more mature. Love you, friend! See you soon!
I'm always sad when their first tooth comes in and I can't even think about James losing a tooth!!!
