We have a third child. His name is Robert.
Unfortunately sweet Robert does not make an appearance on this blog as much as his sisters do.
To live at our house, you must have a nickname (or five). Robert's most consistent nicknames are Boonch and Bubby. Of course, those nicknames have their own variations: Boonchy Smoochy (he loves to give kisses!!), Booncher McSmooch, Bubster, Bubbies, Buster, Buster Brown, Bubs...
At his nine month check-up, Robert weighed 20 lb 5 ou (50%) and was 30 in long (90%).
Yesterday was a special one for Robert. He was dedicated at church. Yes, he got to wear a sweet little outfit, and yes his grandparents were there, but the most special part was being prayed over. Not only is the power of prayer indescribable, but knowing people are reaching their hands out and agreeing with these prayers is the most comforting thing ever.
Every night as I put on Robert's sleep sack, then place him in his crib, I thank Jesus that Robert is a warrior for Christ's kingdom. This is not a prayer I've ever said with my girls.
We love that we have a boy, and are so excited to see the new dynamic that Robert is going to continue to bring into our home!
