Then I remembered that Robbie ordered some toothbrush heads off of eBay for our electric toothbrush. They're expensive in the store, and you can get them in a sealed package online for a lot less money. I was a little leary of buying anything going in my mouth off of the internet, but it's turned out to be okay.
Ellie kept asking all day to open the package. She was convinced that something really fun was in that star-taped envelope, even though I told her it was just toothbrushes.
Turns out she was right. When Robbie opened the package, he insisted that I come look at 'what else' came with it. I was trying to get ready for bed, so I told him to just tell me. He said I really needed to come look. Not only did we get new toothbrush heads,
but some stickers,
an iron-on rhinestone decal,
(be looking for this to appear somewhere on my husband's clothes, per his request!)
and a pink plastic protractor. Maybe the seller knows Robbie's an engineer?!
The only thing we can think of is that a little old lady likes to add some extra 'happies' to her eBay packages. She definitely made our day!
