Diffuser & Dora Cupcakes

This post is as random as its title.  Just warning you!
Normally bath time is at night at our house.  Two nights ago, though, we went to the Barons' baseball game with my school and got home pretty late.  So, Ellie took a shower with me the next morning because we were in a hurry.  (Surprise, surprise!)  I thought I would try drying her hair with the diffuser on my hair dryer.  It looked super-cute, but she hated it.  As in, she tried to pull the curls out of her hair and make it straight!  (Good thing I have lots of experience straightening curly hair!!)  I convinced her to leave it alone by not making her wear a bow.

Onto more of the randomness...  Tonight I decided that we needed to do something as a family.  Ellie came up with the idea to make Dora cupcakes like she has seen on Nick Jr.  I looked up the recipe, saw that we had almost everything it called for, and told Robbie we were having family baking night.  I wish I had a picture of how excited he was! :)

As I am sure you can all guess, our cupcakes weren't quite as cute as Nick Jr.'s.  They weren't as recognizably-Dora, either!  They still taste good, though, and Robbie had a great time piping Dora's hair onto wax paper with melted chocolate!!
