The customer service is unbelievable. For someone like me who runs ninety-to-nothing all of the time wanting to do everything I possibly can and not taking reality into account, and someone like Robbie who is just the opposite, we were both happy and calm for seven straight days! Oh, and throw in a five-year-old and a two-year-old little girl. Again, nothing but happy for seven days! (Well, except for the occasional run-in with characters!)
I've just spent the last hour cropping and unredeying (like my new word?!) all bazillion of our pictures. I'll try to show my favorites!
We flew into Orlando on Friday, boarded the Magical Express bus, checked into the Pop Century, and headed straight for Epcot. What's funny is that I don't have any pictures of the girls in Epcot, just ones of Ellie and MC trying out MC's harness. (Side note: I used to think harnesses were grounds for calling DHR. Now I think they are straight from Heaven! MC thought she was hot stuff getting to walk around, not having to spend her entire vacation in a stroller.)
Saturday we went back to Epcot. Robbie had it in his head that Epcot was his favorite park. While we were walking around, he kept asking me where this ride or that show was, and I had to break it to him that they were all in the Magic Kingdom, not Epcot. In his defense, the last time he was in Disney he was twelve. He'll be thirty-two next month...
I was way-excited about our day in Epcot because we took the girls to lunch at Belle's house. Belle is quite the hostess. Her dining room was spotless, the food was good, and she even invited four of her princess friends to join us! My precious princesses wanted to dress up as Ariel, because they knew they would see her.
Look at Robbie's face. I haven't seen him this excited since football season started! :)
After lunch we wandered around the rest of Epcot. Our favorite ride was Soarin'. We also ventured into a little place I like to affectionately call 'Character Hell.'
Since Ellie can now actually touch the Chick-Fil-A cow, we thought for sure she was ready for Disney. Nope. She shook. She cried. Mary Claire shook. Mary Claire cried. It was miserable. But we endured. And by day seven, Ellie wanted to have her picture with Minnie alone. That's the end of the trip. Maybe one day I'll actually get to that point on our blog! :)
Lunch is calling, laundry is calling (screaming, really!!), so I will post later with more of our fun trip!
