Mary Claire Makes Me Laugh

Last night instead of a bedtime story, we asked the girls a few questions to help us write our family mission statement.

Robbie: Mary Claire, if you could spend the whole day with your family, what would you do?

MC: Go to school.

Robbie: And take all of us with you?

MC: No, just me and Ellie.
After further questioning and explaining, what MC would really want to do is have a big party with cake with princesses.

I know all of your children have sweet, affectionate names for their mommies.  Mary Claire's name for me is 'Mommy Latham.'  Not too sweet, not too affectionate, but definitely original!  Every morning when she wakes up, she sits in her crib (not for long...gotta make room for this baby!) and says, "Mommy Latham!  Come get me!"
