I have never had a Christmas wish list this early in the year, but there are some items I have in mind that I feel I need to mention.
The first thing is a new lens for my camera. A 50mm with at least an F1:8, please. Here's evidence that my photography would highly benefit from this new piece of equipment:
Along with this lens, I need my brother Greg to come live near me so that I can learn how to use it. Aperture and f-stops mingled with three kids is a little too much for me to handle alone.
(BONUS: he grows things in the garden AND he's lots of fun!)
You know what? Probably throw in Nick, too. He has a shirt that matches one of Robert's outfits, and people in the South will appreciate that far more than those up North.
Nick is also lots of fun in the pool.
The girls have a few requests since I'm already writing to you. They would like to always have some sort of cousin around at all times.
Essentially, we need several plane tickets for all of our relatives.
Mary Claire wants a membership to the local Children's Museum. We went to a very small one with Grandmother one day, and MC fell in love.
Can't forget Robert. He not only thoroughly enjoyed being held the whole time we were away, but he also liked the variety of food offered to him.
On that note, a Rita's Ice franchise would be lovely in the town of Hoover.
I can't speak on his behalf, but I'm also pretty sure Robert would like another trip to Yardley. We were there for ten days. Robert was sick for seven. So sick in fact, that Mom and I took him to the ER one night where they discovered his temperature was 104.1. I myself almost needed to be admitted at that point.
Turns out he could not shake a viral infection. Also turns out that I wasn't giving him enough Motrin for his weight (he's a little chunker!). Once he was getting ample amounts of meds, Robert's fever finally subsided and he was himself again.
Just remembered. The girls would like a pool, too.
They promise to help with the cleaning. All you have to do is summon the pool vac. Easy!
Now that I think about it, the girls loved all of the outdoor time they had at Mom's house. Could be the pool. Could be that Uncle Greg and Uncle Nick set up a tent for them to pretend camp in.
Complete with headlamps, sleeping bags, pillows, and a lantern.
Oh yeah. The girls also want cots. See, when they're at Grandmother and Grandpop's house, they get to sleep on camping cots. In Grandmother and Grandpop's bedroom. Right beside their bed. Yes, they're that spoiled loved.
Okay, Santa. I think I've given you enough options to consider for our family this Christmas. Just trying to make your job as easy as possible. You're welcome.
Love,
Jenn
P.S. I didn't leave out Robbie. He said as long as his family is happy, he's happy. ;)
