Tradition

Little Lathams get their first pair of shoes from Sikes in downtown Homewood.  Then they walk in their new kicks to Savage's Bakery, just two storefronts away.  A gingerbread man with raisin eyes is gobbled up by the new-shoe wearer.  This tradition began with Robbie's older sister Stacey and has been maintained with all three of our kids.  

I love that we live in the town where my husband grew up.  I love that our kids get to have the same experiences as their daddy.  And I love listening to Robbie and our kids compare their stories!
