Back It Up

Y'all.  My suitcase is unpacked.  Not unpacked like sitting in the floor waiting to be re-packed, but UNPACKED.  Awesome feeling!
Our first trip this summer was to the beach with the extremely generous Bob and Mary.  Caribe was the destination of choice, and as usual, such a fun time!
We were home for a few days (just enough time to do all of our laundry), then the kids and I headed to Pennsylvania for ten days.  We love being spoiled with yummy food and a pool in the backyard!
And of course, family.  Lots and lots of family!!
Mom flew back to Birmingham with us (HALLELUJAH!), and we spent three days here before packing it (by 'it' I mean all of our belongings because that's what it looks like!) back up to go to Gainesville, Georgia for Mom's family reunion.  She's one of twelve brothers and sisters, so it was quite the gathering.
The kids and I drove home from Georgia for an entire week, then left again for Georgia.  Suwanee, this time, to visit with Nana and Papa for a couple of days before Ellie's golf tournament (the tourney will have its own post, along with Robert's birthday because they deserve their own posts). Again, more spoiling!!
And now we are home!  All of the laundry is (finally!) caught up, we are sleeping soundly in our own beds, and Tank is one happy cat to have his whole family here.
This summer is one where we can truly say we loved every minute of our time off.  Yes, it's nice to be home and in our own beds.  But wow!!  We had the best time being loved on by our sweet families and getting to love on them!
