Another Fun Day!

Our Friday started off with a visit from our friend Marshall, who is exactly one year younger than Ellie. Marshall was great to watch...he just played and played the whole time!

After a nice nap (for both of us!), Ellie and I went to sweet Emily's birthday party. (Robbie met up with us at the party...he wouldn't miss anything for Olivia or Emily...that's how much we love this family!) Before we could leave though, I made the mistake of showing Ellie her birthday bishop, and she insisted on wearing it because she wanted to be a beautiful princess! We're trying to teach her that being a princess means being beautiful on the inside. (So cheesy, but so true!) When I tried to convince El to wear another outfit, she said it was too short! The funny part about that is that anyone who knows me knows that I would NEVER dress Ellie in anything too short!
Anyway, Emily is our old neighbor who we miss so very much! We just don't get to see them enough! Emily's invitation had Tinkerbell on it, so that alone was enough to get Ellie excited! When we got there, Christine (Emily's mom) had the room decked out...Tinkerbell Style! It was Ellie's 'dream come true!' (That's a phrase we hear a lot from her lately!) There was a huge bouncy castle, a plank to walk on, and of course, snacks! You can see from the pictures that Ellie had a wonderful time being in the bouncy castle.

Our friend Ash asks us a lot if we just like to sit and watch Ellie, and the answer is a huge YES! She continues to make us laugh with her little sayings, and her little girly ways. More importantly, she makes us so proud to be her parents!
