COTH Kid!

Anyone that has known Robbie and I since we have moved to Birmingham knows that we LOVE our church. Sure, we both grew up going to church, but as we always say, there's just something different about Church of the Highlands. Pastor Chris always calls COTH a 'life-giving church.' I can honestly say that Robbie and I have felt more life in Jesus Christ than we ever have before.

We also love it that Ellie gets to grow up in this church. This morning one of the first things she talked about was going to church. Ellie has moved past the crying phase, and is now all about getting a sucker from the nursery! Robbie and I are just happy that she has people watching her that we know have prayed over her and will share Jesus with her even if it's just through a cookie or coloring a picture.
A few months ago, the church handed out t-shirts with our church logo on them. Even the little chickies got shirts! Right now, this is one of our favorite things to see Ellie wear. I think it's because I'm always putting her in dresses, so she looks like a real kid in a t-shirt! The verse from Habakuk on the back says it all, "Where new heights begin!" We can't wait to find out where this awesome church is taking our lives, and now the lives of our little ones, too!

How cute that Ellie wants to wear her shirt so much. I was so excited that the kids got them this time. We do go to the most incredible, life-giving church!
