Woo-Hoo!

The pacifier is history! After three L-O-N-G days of crying herself to sleep, Ellie is finally paci-free! So, Robbie and I took Ellie to The Disney Store (she calls it Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Store) to get a treat for being such a big girl. After much perusing and not wanting anything, I finally asked Ellie what she was looking for. She told me she wanted an Ariel doll. Thank goodness the store had just received Ariel dolls and we just didn't see them! Now instead of a paci, we have a mermaid that goes everywhere with us. I personally prefer the mermaid ten times more than the pacifier! That's not to say that I regret using the paci...it really did comfort her and helped her sleep. Let's hope the new baby loves the paci just as much (and that Ellie doesn't try to take it away!). Thanks, pacifier, for keeping our chickie calm and comforted for almost three whole years!
