Our Week in Pictures

Here's how the Latham Family has spent the past few days...
On Saturday we took the girls to see Miss Pattycake. Ellie loved singing and dancing to songs that she knows, and Mary Claire even had a good time bouncing to the music.
Sunday was a great Mother's Day. I loved spending time with my sweet family. Robbie and the girls took me to eat Mexican food, which is my favorite. (I know most families cook at home or go out for a nice brunch, but Robbie doesn't love Mexican food, so this was a real treat!)Tuesday night we went to the Baron's baseball game, which is a local Triple A team. We met up with our fun friends the Drews and the Warrens, which made the game that much better!
Today was just a normal day...I worked this morning and Ellie went to school. However, when I went to pick her up, I laughed so hard that I had tears streaming down my cheeks. This morning Robbie dressed Ellie and took her to school (which was a real lifesaver, by the way!). He asked me to lay her clothes out, so I put them on the back of a chair in her bedroom. Apparently, Robbie thought that I wanted Ellie to wear ALL of the clothes on the back of her chair. You can imgaine my surprise when I saw her wearing this wild (but super-cute!) dress, a shirt, AND pants when what I really wanted her to wear was just the shirt and pants. Even her teacher said that she thought I had gone a little wild with Ellie's clothes today! Plus, please notice the hairbow AND clippie in her hair. Thanks for the good laugh, Robbie!

That's all for now. I am sure that as the weather gets warmer, we'll have plenty more pictures to share! Hope you are all having a wonderful May!

Sounds like our hubbys must be brothers when it comes to the Mexican food and the clothes thing!

I have the same problem with LeRoy and Chinese. It's not his favorite and I love it. We've been doing a challenge with some friends to not go out to eat for a month. Wow, it's been tough! Good thing Ellie is adorable no matter what she's wearing!!

that is heeesterical!!! Jeremy has a bad habit of putting any shirt that has buttons on with the buttons in the front - even if they go in the back and there is a collar by the buttons - it cracks me up! Sweet Robbie was trying so hard to do right - too funny! He needs a boy to just throw in shorts and a t-shirt and be done :)

LOVE the story about Robbie dressing Ellie this morning. My mom still laughs to this day about my kindergarten pictures. My dad had to dress me that day and sent me in play clothes and my hair was all over the place. These sweet dads try their best, don't they. So funny!

OMG I laughed so hard at Ellie's outfit. We'll see how Dad does here after a while. Still in the onesie stage!
