Vive La...Tunica?!

This past weekend Robbie and I went to Tunica. It was a BLAST!! In true casino style, I am going to tell about our weekend in numbers:
50 ~ The age of my uncle that invited us for the weekend to come to a roast in his honor.
500 ~ The number of people at the roast that know my Uncle Rick. (He is the customer relations person at the Gold Strike...he is GOOD!)
3 ~ How many billboards we saw with his picture on it!

1 ~ Salvador Dali original sketch from one of his clients.

25,000 ~ Dollars Rick was advised to insure this piece of artwork for.

1 ~ EXTREMELY happy couple who was in dire need of a weekend without, ahem, children.
5 ~ Meals that made the four hour drive worth it. Not only were the meals free, but they were super-delicious!

12 ~ My Aunt Teresa is the last of my mom's eleven brothers and sisters.

5 ~ Five of seven of the sisters were there. SO much fun!!

*Disclaimer: I DO NOT have on a black glove...it's the cast!
3 ~ The number of times I was carded to come onto the casino floor.

0 ~ The number of times Robbie was carded...all weekend!

10,000 ~ How many times we told each other we couldn't believe how well we were being treated! Didn't these people know that we are really not important or cool?! (This is Robbie in the club in the casino...we got to sit in the VIP section and people watch!)

3 ~ Number of days I wore my 'Happy Birthday, Rick!' button so that I would get all of this special treatment!!

I really can't even describe how much I laughed over the weekend! It was the perfect mix of family and fun! Yeah for Tunica...and for Rick turning fifty!!

I thought the blog post was great, (unlike someone else who had some of their own opinions).
