Breakfast in bed, complete with a present (which she thought was her only present and was perfectly content!)
Swimming at Sophie's, a dress in the mail from Aunt Stacey, then a haircut, then off to her favorite restaurant...PF Chang's!
And surprise...the whole Smith crew joined us, too!! (SUCH a precious family! We pray that our girls will be as wonderful as these four girls!)

An American Girl doll that she picked out and was totally excited when she opened her! (It's hard to get Ellie excited about presents...she's not ungrateful, just doesn't get overly thrilled. We got her this time, though!)

How appropriate for such a precious girl! I say lightly all of the time how God has blessed us with these two incredible children, but I really mean that. Parenting can only go so far. Praying over our children and putting their lives in the hands of our Heavenly Father is what really makes our girls so special. Thank-you, Jesus, for days like birthdays to make me realize what miracles you have given us!
