Aunt Jenn & Uncle Robbie

Ellie is so lucky to have a girl cousin that lives close by.  She's even luckier that this cousin was born on the same day, in the same year.  They pretty much think they're 'twin cousins.' And we all just let them think that.
Last week the girls and I met my brother Tyler half-way between BHam and Atlanta to pick up sweet Charlotte for four whole days.  Not gonna lie...I was nervous!  Some days I have a hard time with three kids; four seemed like a whole new level.  Turns out having Charlotte here made it like I only had two kids...Robert and Mary Claire.  Charlotte and the El were in their own little world for four days.  No fighting.  No whining.  No fighting bedtime.  No copious amounts of tv.  No being mean to MC.  Wonderful!!
I got to be Aunt Jenn...
and Robbie got to be Uncle Robbie for four days.  We loved it!  Charlotte used to be deathly afraid of Robbie, but not anymore!
Mary Claire had the best time showing off Grandmama and Granddaddy's creek to Charlotte!  Ellie let Charlotte use her hiking stick.  That's big time.
When I dropped Charlotte back off on Tuesday, I had to brag on her manners and how self-sufficient she is.  I love this girl, and I love that her parents trusted us to have her for a few days.  I also love that her parents are doing such a fantastic job raising her by 'taking her by the hand and leading her in the way of the Master.' (Ephesians 6:4, Message)
