Yesterday was my birthday, and as usual, Robbie did a great job of making me feel so special! This year, I had an added bonus because Ellie knew that it was my birthday, too! She must have said, "Happy Birthday, Mommy!" two hundred times yesterday! The best is when she woke up in the morning, I heard a big "happy birthday!," then when she woke up from her nap, same thing.
Robbie arranged for several of our friends to meet for Mexican food at my favorite restaurant, Iguana Grill. My friends were so sweet and so patient considering that it was just crazy chaos because we had to sit at separate tables. The kids that were there were so good, though! Ellie LOVED sharing time with her friends just as much as we loved visiting with ours! Seeing everyone there for me showed me once again that God has given me such incredible people to share my life with.
Robbie also had a birthday cake made for me from my favorite cake lady! (However, from the looks of the pictures that he took at the party, I need to really lay off on the cake and Mexican food!)
So, thank-you so much to all of my friends who made my birthday wonderful. I love you all very much! And of course, my husband is just the best!
