Another Sewing Success

One of Mary Claire's only girlfriends, Evelyn, had a couple of things she needed monogrammed.  So, her mommy picked out the old initials and I embroidered Evelyn's initials on top of it.  One of the outfits had a monogram that was impossible to get out.  I tried to put a white patch over the initials, but I didn't like it.  Today I decided that I would attempt to make a tab that would button over the monogram.  Usually when I try something new, it takes me forever and doesn't always quite work.  But this time, it did!!  For anyone who has an embroidery machine, you can either purchase the tabs at SWAK (my favorite site!), or you can save $15.00 and make an applique oval with a buttonhole on either side.

But wait, there's more!  I also removed several monograms from some clothes for Mary Claire.  (I promise, I really do have a life!)  Here's one of the rompers that had an 'H' on it, and I put an 'M' on it.  It's my new favorite outfit...have I ever mentioned I could eat this girl?!
