El's kindergarten graduation was this past Thursday, and I could not have been more proud of her! The microphone was a little lot over her head, but she made that voice boom where we could all hear her loud and clear! Not only did she recite part of a poem (above), but she also said TWO Bible verses into the microphone!
This time last year, Robbie and I were really having a hard time deciding where to send Ellie to kindergarten. We had several people telling us to put her in public school, and several saying to leave her where she was for just one more year. As always, God answered our prayers for discernment by telling us to leave her where she was. Then, He gave us Ms. DeFranco as her precious, patient, tender-hearted teacher.
Since Ellie and MC's current school stops at kindergarten, Ellie will most definitely be in public school for first grade! Now our prayers are focused on asking God to prepare Ellie's first grade teacher's heart for her, and Ellie's heart for her new teacher! Thank-You, God, for giving us the comfort that you know our children's futures!

I can't believe she's a kindergarten graduate! It feels like just yesterday we were talking about where she would go! She's such a big girl!
